BROWNSVILLE, Texas – State Sen. Eddie Lucio is retiring from public office having spent 34 years in the Legislature – four years as a state representative and 30 as a state senator.

In a video series on his legacy, the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service interviewed the senator on a range of subjects. Part Four, below, focuses on Lucio’s respect for Dan Patrick, the current lieutenant governor of Texas.
