Rio Grande Valley, Texas: Every October, DHR Health employees tap into their creative energy to participate in the Renaissance Cancer Foundation’s annual “Bras for a Cause,” online fundraiser that raises monies to provide resources to local cancer patients in need. And this year’s entries are spectacular!
Now the Renaissance Cancer Foundation would like to ask people throughout the Rio Grande Valley to vote for their favorite decorative bra by going to the “Bras for a Cause” website at www.dhr.link/brasforacause.
In this online fundraiser, every vote represents more than just a show of support, it helps generate funds for the Renaissance Cancer Foundation where they can continue to provide vital resources to local cancer patients in need, such as transportation assistance, financial aid, and oncology wigs, and breast prostheses.
This year a total of 15 decorated bras were submitted by various DHR Health departments. Each showcased their enthusiasm to help underserved cancer patients.
“Bras for a Cause is a fun and engaging way for our employees to help promote breast cancer awareness and help others in need,” said Evelyn Saenz, executive director of the Renaissance Cancer Foundation. “We’re always so impressed by the many creative entries we receive.”
Community members are encouraged to visit www.dhr.link/brasforacause to view photos of the bra entries and cast their votes by making donations. The bra with the highest donation total will be declared the winner of the online fundraiser. Voting is open to the community now until midnight, October 27, 2026.
Donations made to the Renaissance Cancer Foundation are tax-deductible and directly support local cancer patients facing financial challenges during their treatment.
