MISSION, Texas - The Border Trade Alliance of Mexico, in collaboration with the Binational Council for Economic Development of Reynosa (Cobifer), held a meeting recently with Luis Antonio Ramírez Pineda, CEO of Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior (Bancomext) and director of Nacional Financiera (Nafin), in Mission, Texas.
The gathering featured the participation of prominent individuals, including Ninfa Cantú Deandar, secretary of economic development for the state of Tamaulipas, Reynosa Mayor Carlos Peña Ortiz, and Mauricio Treviño, secretary of economic development for Reynosa.
Also present were Joaquín Spamer, president of BTA Mexico and founder and president of Commodities Integrated Logistics (CIL) and Luis Cantú, president of Cobifer.
The meeting also drew representatives from various business organizations in Reynosa and McAllen, such as Coparmex Asociación de Hoteles y Moteles de Reynosa, Cluster Energético de Tamaulipas-Texas, CETUM, Canirac, Consejo de Negocios Regional, and McAllen Economic Development Corporation.
“We engaged in a constructive dialogue to address the priority financing needs of various projects in our border region,” Spamer told the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service.





The event was held at CIL’s Klub Nautique.
