Texas A&M University Foundation received $250,000 for Addressing the Critical Shortage of RNs in the RGV.

South Texas College Foundation received $125,000 for its Promise Programs.

Region One Education Service Center received $119,000 for its Preparing and Certifying Educators Program.

Imaginarium of South Texas received $50,000 for its Homework Assistance program.

Cameron County Education Initiative received $216,750 for its Medical Careers Training and Apprenticeship program.

The goal of the Rio-South Texas Education and Community Development Foundation is to help the region’s residents attain vocational trade certifications and/or degrees for in-demand professions.
