BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Visiting state lawmakers and other policymakers recently learned about the mission statement of the eBridge Center for Business and Commercialization in Brownsville.

The lawmakers paid a visit to eBridge as part of the 2023 Valley Legislative Tour hosted by the Rio Grande Valley Partnership.

During a panel discussion, Linda Ufland Romo and Nathan Burhart spoke about eBridge and when it is scheduled to open. Ufland Romo is director of entrepreneurship, innovation and commercialization at UT-Rio Grande Valley, and Burkhart is director of marketing for Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC).
