PHARR, Texas – Pharr Bridge Board hosted the Industrial Warehouse Summit that was held at the Development & Research Center on Dicker Road in south Pharr.
Luis Bazan, director of the Pharr International Bridge, said the summit was put on in response to a well-documented shortage of industrial warehouse space in the upper Rio Grande Valley. He said he was pleased to bring land developers, bankers, construction companies and lawyers under one roof to address the issue.
In a video interview with the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service, Bazan said the summit actually came about because of a news story in the Guardian.
