BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization seeks to be the “entrepreneurial bridge” for startups and legacy businesses to scale and commercialize their product or service on a massive scale.
According to Ron Garza, UT-Rio Grande Valley’s associate vice president for workforce and economic development, every city in the Valley wants to build an eBridge Center.
The center will officially open at 3 p.m. on March 9 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Two hours later there will be a panel discussion about entrepreneurialism in South Texas.
The Rio Grande Guardian International News Service was given a sneak preview of the center with Nathan Burkhart, director of business development for Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, acting as the tour guide.
