MEXICO CITY – The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Olof Palme Center in Mexico City will jointly host a discussion on the recent North American Leaders Summit.
The discussion will look at the achievements and challenges of the summit, which was held in Mexico City between Presidents Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Joe Biden, and Justin Trudeau.
The discussion takes place online at 11 a.m. Central Time on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
María Cristina Rosas, director of the Olof Palme Center for Analysis and Research on Peace, Security and Development, will provide opening commentary. The expert speakers will be Professor Tony Pagan of Rice University, Professor Kim Nossal of Queen’s University in Canada, and Silvia Núñez of the Center for Research on North America at UNAM. Rio Grande Guardian International News Service editor Steve Taylor will be the moderator.
