EDINBURG, Texas - IDEA Toros College Preparatory has announced a partnership with Cobalt Sports Holdings that includes a complete brand transformation with a new name and crest.
For the upcoming 2023-2024 season, IDEA Toros Fútbol Academy will be representing the Rio Grande Valley in the MLS Next Player Development Platform.
"We are extremely proud to partner with Cobalt Sports Holdings on this exciting opportunity to take our soccer program to the next level," said IDEA Toros Fútbol Academy MLS Next Academy Director, Johann Contasté.
MLS Next is the top league in North America for boys’ youth soccer.

IDEA Toros College Preparatory is also on the national stage, ranking in the top one percent of high schools in the U.S. according to the U.S. News and World Report.

Cobalt Sports Holdings was created to provide support, opportunities, collaboration, and revenue streams to sports programs by combining the 'strength in numbers' philosophy with clubs that are independent by structure and desire, Erwin explained.
