MCALLEN, Texas - The Texas Water Foundation recently held its two-day 2025 Rio Grande/Rio Bravo Binational River Symposium at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in McAllen.
Among those in attendance was Cameron County Commissioner David Garza.
During the symposium, Garza gave an in-depth interview to Ron Whitlock of Ron Whitlock Reports.
"Farmers have had three years of drought as of now, going into the fourth year of drought," Garza said. "The efficiencies that we have in the delivery of a water, which is the majority of the water that comes down our river, is very inefficient. "
