The PossAble Dream High School - A Site Coordinator's Perspective

BROWNSVILLE, Texas -  The PossAble Dream Adult High School  opened its Brownsville campus in the fall for adults ages 18-50 looking to earn a high school diploma rather than a general equivalency development.

According to Ceci Gomez, site coordinator for the high school, the school is  designed to support adult learners who who face the challenge of balancing education with work and family responsibilities by providing students with flexibility in their schedules.

According to the a 2024 report from the Texas Comptroller's office, the the percentage of the South Texas region with a highschool degree is 72.9%.  

The high school allows provides students with career placement support and secondary education opportunities.

The PossAble Dream Foundation has set up campuses in Pharr, Brownsville, and Laredo.
