BROWNSVILLE, Texas - Salomon Torres is a US-Mexico history aficionado based in the Rio Grande Valley.
Five years ago he organized a symposium to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the U.S.-Mexico War. He plans to host another one this year to commemorate its 180th anniversary.
He recently sat down for an interview with the Rio Grande Guardian to discuss the project.
