The family medicine and outpatient rehabilitation clinics mark the system’s expansion into the Palmhurst community
The events of recent years have highlighted the importance of maintaining good health. While this is supported through diet and exercise, regular medical checkups with a primary care physician and seeking treatment to help recover from a debilitating injury or life-altering event is also crucial to one’s overall wellbeing.
To accommodate the Valley’s growing healthcare needs, South Texas Health System Clinics has opened four doctor’s offices and rehabilitation centers throughout the region over the past year and will soon welcome patients at its next two clinics following an official grand opening ceremony.
On Thursday, January 13, South Texas Health System Clinics will host a ribbon cutting in Palmhurst for its newest facilities — a family medicine clinic and outpatient rehabilitation clinic.
Conveniently located off of Conway Ave. and Buddy Owens Blvd., the two new STHS Clinics locations will offer residents in and around Palmhurst community accessible healthcare for chronic disease management, follow-up care after emergency visits and more, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapies.
