MCALLEN, Texas - The South Texas College Foundation recently received a $100,000 endowment from Noble Texas Builders, an award-winning commercial construction firm based in La Feria, Texas. South Texas College Foundation has matched the donation.
The endowment will be used to fund STC students who demonstrate academic excellence and character within the college’s Construction, Engineering or Architecture programs.
Rene Capistran, CEO of Noble Texas Builders, gave the keynote address at the check presentation ceremony. After the check presentation, Capistran gave an interview to the Rio Grande Guardian.
