WESLACO, Texas - An initiative titled “United We Clean Up El Rio Grande/El Rio Bravo” took place last weekend in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas.
It was organized by Rotary International and took place at Laguna Benito Juárez and Laguna Independencia.
Over 100 volunteers were encouraged to bring their gloves and tools.
Nyron McLean, Governor for the Rotary Club of Riverside Sunrise traveled from Riverside, California to participate. He previewed the project in an interview with the Rio Grande Guardian:
