WESLACO, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Partnership, in collaboration with RGV First, is hosting the State of the RGV Real Estate Forum on Oct. 19.
The venue has changed. It was to be held at UTRGV’s Center for Innovation and Commercialization in Weslaco. However, this venue was not deemed big enough, which is a sign that the attendance will be strong. Instead, the forum will be held at the Hampton Inn on Fairfield Boulevard in Weslaco.
The event will run from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
RGV First was set up to showcase local architects, engineers and contractors. It is now under the wing of RGVP.
Daniel Silva, president and CEO of the RGV Partnership, said his group is excited to be hosting the forum.
“Through the RGV Partnership and one of our subcommittees, RGV First, we believe that it is important to keep the community informed on development throughout the Rio Grande Valley,” Silva said.
“Understanding our growth in our manufacturing, warehousing, industrial, and commercial developments can help us better plan and prepare for these growing industries.”
Silva pointed out that through RGV First, the Partnership “promotes local engineering, architectural, and construction firms and encourages companies who are either entering the our market or expanding in our market to utilize their (First’s) expertise and experience working in the Rio Grande Valley.”
