MISSION, Texas - As part of its Buenas Tardes Luncheon series, the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a symposium titled State of Hospitality & Tourism.
Held at the Mission Event Center, the panel discussion was moderated by Tim Brown, vice chair of the chamber’s tourism and community development committee.
The three panelists comprised Adriana Cruz, executive director of the Texas Economic Development and Tourism Division in the Office of the Governor; A.J. Singh, founding director and professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management at UT-Rio Grande Valley: and Teclo J. Garcia, CEO of Mission Economic Development Corporation.
