BROWNSVILLE, Texas - Herminio Guajardo, dean of health professions here at Texas Southmost College, says he is proud of the quality of the students that graduate from TSC in the allied health field.

“Our programs have a very good reputation and we very high quality students,” Guajardo said.

The Rio Grande Guardian visited with Guajardo to learn more about the allied health programs on offer at TSC.

“We are inviting the community to come and visit us, to learn about all the opportunities we have for students,” Guajardo said.

Maria Perez, radiology supervisor at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, agreed with Guajardo. She said Valley Baptist Medical Center prefers hiring TSC students to those from outside of the region.

Here, below are the Guardian's video interviews with Guajardo and Perez.
