Gonzalez, Allred, make their closing remarks to voters ahead of general election
Congressmen Vicente Gonzalez of McAllen and Colin Allred of Dallas are currently Democratic colleagues in the U.S. House. While Gonzalez is hoping to be elected by the voters of District 34, Allred is running for the U.S. Senate.

EDINBURG, Texas - U.S. Rep. Vicente Gonzalez and U.S. Senate candidate Colin Allred have made their closing arguments for the 2024 general election.
They did so at a Get Out the Vote rally hosted by former Hidalgo County Democratic Party Chair Ramon Garcia in the parking lot of his law office in Edinburg.
