MCALLEN, Texas - Mark E. Garcia, president and CEO of Foreign Trade Zone No. 12, has given an in-depth interview to the RGG Business Journal about the work of the organization.
In the interview, Garcia explained what a FTZ does and what type of companies can benefit from its services. He pointed out that FTZ No. 12 no longer services McAllen alone. Its coverage area extends across Hidalgo County and potentially soon, Willacy County also.
And he spoke about the organization’s decision to join RioPlex, believing this group can better market the foreign trade zone across the globe.
