RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas - Starr County Industrial Foundation hosted a discussion on ways to reduce the digital divide.
Specifically, the event explored the potential of public-private partnerships to bridge the gap.
The main part of the program was a panel discussion with four executives from RGV-based internet service provider VTX1. The four executives were CEO Patrick McDonnell, COO Orlando Quintanilla, Vice President of Business Development Jeffrey Patterson, and Chief Technology Officer Sebastian Ivanisky.
SCIF President Rose Benavidez moderated the discussion.
The event was held at South Texas College’s Starr County Campus.
Because of the length of the panel discussion, the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service has split a video recording into two parts.
