MCALLEN, Texas - Estrada Hinojosa and Company hosted a luncheon at the McAllen Country Club on Dec. 7 so that leaders from Hidalgo and Starr counties could learn more about the North American Development Bank.

The investment firm hosted an identical event for VIPS, elected officials and community leaders from Cameron and Willacy counties at Rancho Viejo Country Club on Dec. 6.

The keynote speaker at both events was John Beckham, the incoming managing director of NADBank. NADBank was set up during the NAFTA negotiations of the early 1990s.

Before Beckham gave his speech at the McAllen event, there were introductory remarks from Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez, McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos, and Estrada Hinojosa & Company President, CEO, and Co-Founder Noé Hinojosa. Hinojosa is a Rio Grande Valley native.
