DHR Health to Host Graduation Ceremony for Resident, Fellow Physicians and Resident Pharmacists

WHAT:

DHR Health will honor its graduating medical residents, fellows, and pharmacy residents at a special graduation ceremony. The event recognizes physicians and pharmacists (who have already graduated from medical/pharmacy school) who completed their graduate medical education specialty training in residency and fellowship at DHR Health and are preparing to begin the next phase of their professional medical careers. 

WHO:

•           DHR Health Leadership

•           DHR Health Graduate Medical Education program directors, faculty, fellows, residents, and staff

•           Graduating physicians who have completed their residency

•           Graduating physicians who have completed their fellowship

•           Graduating pharmacists who have completed their residency

•           Family members and special guests

ADDITIONAL :

The graduation ceremony celebrates the achievement of physicians and pharmacists who have completed rigorous residency and/or fellowship training programs. GME (Graduate Medical Education) at DHR Health is the formal training program that physicians and pharmacists undergo after graduating from medical/pharmacy school to further develop competencies necessary for independent practice.

DHR Health identifies a Designated Institutional Official (DIO) who, in collaboration with a Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC), has the authority and responsibility for the oversight and administration of each GME program.  Clinical learning environments must ensure patient safety, quality, supervision, professionalism, and resident well-being by providing resources, maintaining accreditation compliance, and supporting ethical, high-quality patient care within DHR Health’s GME programs.
