Thank you, everybody. This is a wonderful day. Wonderful morning. I'm going to do the beauty notes. Sometimes I go off script all the time, so I'll do part of the script, and then I'll do some personal notes at the end. So thank you.
On behalf of the City of Pharr and the Pharr City Commission, I'd like to thank you all for joining us today as we celebrate this transformative step forward for our community and our region.
As Mayor Hernandez had stated earlier when we had conversations previously, this investment is about opening doors, doors to better jobs, stronger families and brighter futures. We are creating real pathways for individuals to complete their education, increase their skills and access for greater socioeconomic opportunities.
This initiative is more than just a school that's a symbol of hope, determination and a belief that is never too late to pursue your dreams.
A special thanks, of course, to Dr King for his visionary leadership, to the entire team whose dedication made this opportunity a reality for the families across our region. And to the TEA for its invaluable support for this groundbreaking initiative.
Together, we are building a stronger workforce, uplifting families and setting new standards for regional success. Let us keep pushing forward, dreaming bigger, creating lasting change for generations to come. Thank you for joining us today.
Editor's Note: The above commentary was provided by Pharr City Commissioner Dr. Ramiro Caballero at a press conference held at the Pharr Events Center to announce the launch of The PossAble Dream Foundation.
