EDINBURG, Texas - Bechtel is the engineering, procurement, and construction contractor for NextDecade’s big Rio Grande LNG project at the Port of Brownsville.
The company currently has around 6,500 workers at the site. But it needs more workers, according Monica Tellam Asti, community relations and communications manager for Bechtel.
Tellam Asti and her recruiters were at a “Tools & Talent: Skilled Trades Job Fair” hosted by Edinburg Economic Development Corporation last week.
In an interview with the RGG Business Journal, Tellam Asti spoke about the liquefied natural gas export terminal project and the types of workers Bechtel is looking for. "It was an excellent jobs fair," she said.
