MCALLEN, Texas – Via a Zoom conversation, The Rio Grande Guardian recently caught up Jerome Garza, area manager for U.S. Census Bureau for the Dallas Region, to discuss Census 2020.

The self-response period ends at the end of September and Valley community leaders are frantically trying to get all residents to complete their census forms.

Garza is confident every household will get counted, through a combination of the self-response method and follow-up house calls by Census Bureau enumerators.
