EDINBURG, TEXAS – Vanguard Academy Superintendent Narciso Garcia is very proud of the educational attainment scores his students are achieving. In fact, in many areas the academy is the highest scores in the Rio Grande Valley, according to the Texas Education Agency.

In the three videos posted below, Garcia takes a deep dive into the rankings. The first video looks at how pre-K, Kinder, and 1st and 2nd grade students are doing.

And how is Vanguard Academy doing with its College, Career, and Military Readiness scores? Superintendent Garcia says very well, citing independently produced numbers. Here is what he had to say:

And what feedback is Vanguard Academy getting from parents, community leaders and elected officials when they are told how the charter school is doing? Superintendent Garcia said the hard work of teachers and staff is appreciated in the community.
