EDINBURG, Texas – Edinburg native Julia Rodriguez recently completed a summer internship with the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service as its public health reporter.
Rodriguez is just starting her second year at Brown University in Rhode Island. She is studying public health.
Rodriguez’s internship with the Guardian allowed her to collect material for her studies. In the video interview below, Rodriguez tells Guardian editor Steve Taylor about her work during the summer and her future goals.
