MCALLEN, Texas – One of the two candidates running for Congressional District 15 recently featured at a Meet & Greet hosted by the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The two candidates are Ruben Ramirez and Michelle Vallejo. They are contesting a Democratic Party runoff election. The event was held at Costa Messa restaurant in north McAllen.
Only one of the candidates could make the event, Vallejo.
The Rio Grande Guardian, which has a partnership with the RGV Hispanic Chamber for candidate forums and debates live-streamed Vallejo’s remarks on Facebook. Here is the video:
