MCALLEN, Texas – State Senate District 27 candidate Morgan LaMantia was in the audience for RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s recent legislative update luncheon.

Interviewed afterwards by the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service, LaMantia said she can learn a lot from those on the stage, state Sen. Juan Hinojosa and state Rep. R.D. ‘Bobby’ Guerra. She said Guerra articulated the case for Medicaid Expansion well.

Asked what her top issues are, LaMantia said: healthcare, education, fixing the electric grid, and highway infrastructure.
