PHARR, Texas – Tulsi Gabbard, the former member of Congress from Hawaii, was in the Rio Grande Valley this week to support the re-election of U.S. Rep. Mayra Flores.

Gabbard used to be a Democrat. But, she is now a big critic of the party. In a brief interview with reporters outside the Junction Cafe in Pharr, Gabbard spoke about her support of Flores, a Republican.

Flores and Gabbard spoke at campaign rallies in Pharr and Brownsville.
