MCALLEN, RGV – UT-Rio Grande Valley Continuing Education, a division of Academic Affairs, is inviting the public to attend a series of free open house sessions every Friday at the McAllen Teaching Site next to La Plaza Mall.
The actual address is #1100, 1800 S. Main. Parking is free and no permit is required.
“Anyone interested in continuing their education can stop by any time between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Friday to tour our facility and learn more about the continuing education courses and programs coming this fall,” said Jayshree Bhat, director of UTRGV Continuing Education.
“Whether you’re looking to explore an interest, develop new skills, or change careers, UTRGV Continuing Education can help you get on the path to success with our extensive range of courses and programs.”
An additional attraction is that those who come along can enter to win discount coupons (up to 50 percent off of select courses including the UTRGV Continuing Education healthcare certificate programs. Those that attend the open house will also get a course info pack and the chance to win other prizes.
On Sept. 1, the focus will be on College Test Prep Courses. On Sept. 8, the focus will be on Online Self-Paced Courses
