McALLEN, RGV – This afternoon we will have a LIVE conversation on Facebook with Matt Ruszczak, executive director of Rio South Texas Economic Council.
Ruszczak has just returned from a trip to Europe where he took in the Hannover Trade Fair, the biggest of its kind in the world.
While in Germany, Ruszczak visited a FESTO manufacturing plant. FESTO is connected to the Valley through South Texas College. STC is the only college in the United States that is certified to train students on FESTO equipment.
Ruszczak believes the Valley can build on the strong relationship STC has built up with FESTO and the connections he and other economic development leaders made at the Hannover Trade Fair.
