The practices expand STHS Clinics’ presence in McAllen with the system’s fifth and sixth locations in the City of Palms

To keep healthcare accessible throughout the region, STHS Clinics has launched several new practices — ranging from general surgery to cardiology and more — in the past year alone. On Thursday, February 17, it celebrated the grand opening of its sixth and seventh with a socially distanced ribbon cutting ceremony.
Located in McAllen’s Trenton Crossing Shopping Center, STHS Clinics’ newest family medicine and outpatient clinics give North McAllen residents and those in the surrounding areas a new quality, convenient option for their medical needs.
The practices share a 6,500+ square-foot space. Dr. Luis Uresti and Dr. Chris Casso serve as the attending family medicine physicians and treat pediatric, adult and geriatric populations; the rehabilitation side offers speech, physical and occupational therapies and is staffed by Anthony Esquivel, DPT, Jonathan Arias, DPT, Corina Gonzalez, OTR and Ana Vallejo, SLP.
“Growing up in the RGV and being able to serve my community as a Family Medicine Physician is humbling and rewarding,” Dr. Casso said. “I help diagnose and treat a diverse range of illnesses, including common colds, skin conditions, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and many others.
“I am excited to be able to provide preventative care from our new beautiful, state of the art location in McAllen.”
