“Our For The Future Candidate Events focus exclusively on public education issues and on candidates for the Texas Legislature, which plays a huge role in shaping the requirements and resources of every public school in Texas,” RYHT said. “All candidates on the ballot are invited to participate, and no candidate is endorsed.”
The RYHT website explains what the nonprofit is all about:
“The future of Texas – our economy, communities, and citizenry – depends on how well we prepare our students today. All students deserve a level playing field and equal access to a quality public education. We believe our public schools represent our greatest hope for educating and preparing all 5+ million Texas students for the future,” the website states.
