ELSA, Texas – Daniel Rivera, the executive director of Elsa Economic Development Corporation, has given an update on his city’s eagerly-anticipated Pacific Trails park project.
Approximately 28 acres of land is being utilized for the park, which will include a hike and bike trail to connect the community.
“It’s a beautiful project,” Rivera said. “It’s a huge undertaking but we are really excited to be working on it.”
Rivera spoke about Pacific Trails during a “Commercialization and Investment” tour co-hosted by the Rio Grande Valley Partnership and Elsa Economic Development Corporation.
Rivera also spoke about the push to bring a hospital or emergency care facility to Elsa. He said the facility would be built on Elsa’s industrial park.
“That is the one thing we feel we are lacking right now and it is the one thing we are aggressively going after it,” Rivera said.
