ALAMO, Texas – The loyal readers, listeners, and viewers of the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service deserve an explanation as to why we have been missing in action these past five days.

The entire editorial team was floored by COVID-19. We had no one with the seniority to edit our videos, podcasts or text stories. We do apologize.

We are pleased to say our editorial team is on the mend and getting back to full fitness. As such, we are pleased to report we are back in the office and endeavoring to catch up on all the stories, podcasts and videos.

An important lesson learned, we need to have a back-up plan when a crisis hits. We will implement such a plan.

We thank again our loyal readers, listeners and viewers for asking what happened and offering to help. Your support means the world to us. Thank you!

Quality journalism takes time, effort and…. Money!
