PHARR, RGV – In the image above, about a third of the Rio Grande Guardian team is pictured hard at work in the Pharr bureau.

Pictured left to right are Photo & Video Producer Steve Gallegos, Business Reporter Ena Capucion, Publisher Mark Hanna, Chief Creative Officer Hutton Edwards, and Co-Founder Steve Taylor.

On assignment, away from the Pharr bureau at the time the photo was taken, were Sales & Marketing Director Shon Gonzalez, Editor-in-Chief Patricia Fogarty, Assistant Editor Nadezhda Garza, Senior Reporter Claudia Perez Rivas, Mexico Correspondent Blanca Zumaya, Editor Dayna Reyes, Video Journalist Apolonio Sandoval, Jr., PSJA ISD interns Alyssa Sandoval and Roxanna Sanchez, and columnists José Antonio López and Gary Mounce.

In July, the Rio Grande Guardian celebrated its 11th Anniversary. In August, it celebrated a record number of page views.

“I am excited about the team we are assembling and the trajectory we are on. The latest ‘hits’ report is fantastic. We have some exciting announcements coming soon, so watch this space,” said Sales & Marketing Director Shon Gonzalez.

Publisher Mark Hanna said: “Nothing is ever accomplished alone. All great things require a team to make things happen. I’m proud to be a part of this great team.”
