Perez: How to make Brownsville a major logistics hub once again

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Steve Perez is general manager of Velox Global Solutions, a new tech company based in Brownsville, and a member of the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization. 

Perez specializes in logistics, transportation and software.

In an exclusive video interview with the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service, Perez discussed his ideas for making Brownsville more competitive. 

The interview took place at a Brownsville Chamber of Commerce breakfast event that featured Brownsville Mayor John Cowen, Jr. In a Q&A, Perez asked a question of Cowen related to marketing. Perez elaborates on that question in the Guardian interview.
