MCALLEN, RGV – With the filing period over, candidates in the Rio Grande Valley are getting their primary campaigns up and running.
Hidalgo County Democratic Party held its traditional Ballot Bash event at the Casa de Palmas Renaissance in McAllen on Monday evening. Many of the candidates running for elected office in the March 6, 2018, primary were present, along with their families, friends and supporters.
The Rio Grande Guardian will be covering the competitive races over the next few months, including livestreams on Facebook. Candidates should send their news releases to [email protected].
