My grandfather, Joe LaMantia, was the first of our family to come to the Valley. He started farming and ranching—and through his hard work, the business began to grow.

I’m proud to be part of the next generation of leadership in our family business that today supports over 1,200 jobs across Texas and beyond.

It’s an honor to carry on the legacy of my grandfather: building opportunities through hard work, and giving back to the community. And I know he’s with me now, as I step up to serve.

My name is Morgan LaMantia and I’m running as your Democratic nominee for Texas State Senate.

I believe that strong families and good business go hand in hand.

South Texas is the workforce of Texas’ future. We’re leaders in space exploration, renewable energy, international trade – not to mention the produce capital that feeds the nation. When we invest in that workforce, we strengthen our community.

I am running to get things done for working families who face rising costs every day. To support the parents who make sacrifices to build a better life for their families. To fight for more access to healthcare, better resources for teachers, and more support for small businesses.

Those are the values I was raised with.

I’m stepping up as a Democrat for the Texas State Senate because we have a chance to elect a new generation of leaders, but I can’t do it alone. I’m depending on supporters like you to join me.

I know in South Texas, when we stand by our families, there’s nothing we can’t do.

Thank you.
