A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at Mission Boys & Girls Club on Thursday to signfy a partnership between Sylvan Learning, Mission Economic Development Corporation, and Royal Technologies. Together they are promoting “Code the Town” and “Enginuity” initiatives. Under these initiatives, Sylvan's Susan Valverde says, students have the opportunity to learn concepts used in the STEM professions and work in a fun and hands-on environment to build projects as well as to enrich their computer science skills in a series of free summer camps.
