RAYMONDVILLE, RGV – State Sen. Eddie Lucio, Jr., was master of ceremonies at the swearing in of two new elected officials in Willacy County on New Year’s Day.
Lucio, a Democrat from Brownsville, swore into office former Lyford Mayor Henry De La Paz as Willacy County Commissioner, Precinct 3.
He also swore into office Annette Hinojosa as Willacy County’s new district and county attorney.
The ceremonies took place at the County Courthouse in Raymondville.
