We would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
It has got to be better than the last one, hasn’t it? Most of us are glad to see the back of 2020. It was a wretched year for so many.
Let’s hope this is the year we say goodbye to face masks, lockdowns and closed bridges. This can only happen if we listen to the advice of our scientists and health experts. Let’s hope our government gets the vaccine distributed speedily and that enough people take it to make a difference.
We would like to thank our healthcare heroes for the sacrifices they made during the pandemic, as well as our county judges Richard Cortez, Eddie Treviño, Jr., Eloy Vera, and Aurelio Guerra for their steadfast and wise leadership during these challenging times.
We would also like to thank our readers, advertisers and sponsors for their loyal support. Here’s to a great 2021.
Feliz Año Nuevo.
