The overall star rating establishes that DHR Health has met the quality standards for a variety of identified measures, compared to other hospitals in the U.S. The more stars a hospital receives, the better the hospital performed on quality measures. To receive this rating, DHR Health was analyzed across five health-care outcomes, including timeliness and effectiveness of care, mortality, safety of care, readmission rates, and patient experience.

CMS publicly reports hospitals on overall star ratings that include a variety of more than 100 measures.
