HARLINGEN, RGV – The Washington, D.C., office of U.S. Sen. John Cornyn on Monday released a photo of Texas’ senior senator visiting with Harlingen Mayor Chris Boswell.
There was no commentary or news release to accompany the image.
Along with Boswell, Harlingen City Manager Dan Serna made the trip to the nation’s Capitol. Boswell said the meeting was arranged to discuss issues important to Harlingen.
“City Manager Dan Serna and I had a great meeting with Senator Cornyn. He is an outstanding advocate for all of us here in South Texas,” Boswell told the Rio Grande Guardian.
