Duncan Wood, from the Wilson Center, gave an informative presentation today at the McAllen International Economic Summit regarding cross border trade and the geopolitical issues with China as well as the opportunities facing Mexico as a regional trade partner.
As manufacturing returns to North America spurred on by the on-shoring and near-shoring movement, job development will be front and center. Duncan describes the movement as a “seismic shift” in commerce and trade between the USA and Mexico.
