SAN BENITO, Texas – The Rio Grande Valley Partnership hosted its most recent “Commercialization and Investment” tour in San Benito.
There, land developers and real estate agents learned about new projects coming to the city, as well as which parcels of land are available for purchase.
The event was held at the offices of San Benito Economic Development Corporation.
“I think we are a great region to invest in,” said San Benito EDC Executive Director Ramiro Aleman. “I like to say we are in the heart of Cameron County. We’re in between the two largest cities (in the county), right on the interstate (I-69E). Our population is about 25,000 but the trade area, on just the United States side alone, is about 423,000. So, there’s a lot of opportunity here.”
